At SBUP, the foundation for a successful management career begins the moment a student steps onto our campus. We are dedicated to making their journey memorable with the auspicious beginning of Deeksharambh (Induction ceremony)—a three-day event that marks the beginning of the new academic year for student managers.

This ceremonial welcome celebrates the new beginnings. During this event, students, accompanied by their parents, are introduced to the vibrant campus life, its values, and the opportunities ahead. As part of conducting different activities for the entire academic year, on the day, students are divided into different groups called "Rivers" that encourages teamwork and collaboration. Further, workshops, fun activities, and the presence of renowned national and international guests who share their wisdom and inspire our student managers, makes the event even more spirited.

Once the celebrations conclude, the 45-day induction programme takes the centre stage. This programme is specially designed to help students mould smoothly into the rigorous MBA curriculum. It focuses on skill enhancement through bridge-cum-skill upgradation training by the Grand Master Consultancy. It helps students from diverse academic backgrounds—be it commerce, science or arts—come together on a common platform. This training combines classroom sessions, interactive workshops, and guest lectures, featuring eminent personalities from various industries. In this induction programme, our student managers immerse themselves in a blend of academic and physical activities that prepares them for the demands of corporate life. This disciplined routine helps our student managers build resilience, encouraging strong work ethics and ensuring that they are well-prepared for their journey from campus to the corporate world.

Induction Program

At SBUP, we believe in laying a strong foundation for the management career that lies ahead of the student manager. We start working on this foundation right from Day 1 when the student enters the Campus. The 45 days long induction period comprises the bridge-cum-skill up-gradation training conducted by the Grand Master Consultancy. The training aims to bring students, from different educational streams, at par with one another and bridge the gap between the commerce and non-commerce students. The program comprises classroom-based training augmented by workshops, and guest lectures where the student managers get an opportunity to interact with eminent personalities from various walks of life. The induction program is not only an academically rigorous exercise but also physically demanding. Student managers start their day at 8:00 am and are engaged in various activities until around 8:00 pm. This builds a habit of putting in extra hours which is a demand of the corporates thereby making the transition from campus to corporate a smooth one.
