The first ever student chapter of National HRD network was launched at Sri Balaji University Pune on 23rd December 2023 with the support of Prof. B Paramanandhan, SBUP Chancellor, Prof. GK Shirude, Vice Chancellor, Dr. Dimple Saini, Senior Director - Corporate Relations, and Dr. Biju G. Pillai, Director – BIIB.  

The main purpose of launching the NHRDN Sri Balaji University Pune (SBUP) Student Chapter is to create a collaborative learning platform that bridges the gap between academia and industry, empowering HR professionals, students, and academicians to address the challenges and opportunities in the evolving world. 

A total number of 650 students from the four institute - BIMM, BITM, BIIB and BIMHRD attended this event along with the dignitaries of SBUP and NHRDN. 

The National HRD Network (NHRDN), in collaboration with Sri Balaji University Pune (SBUP), proudly announces the launch of the Student Chapter, a landmark initiative aimed at fostering excellence in Human Resource Development through collaboration, innovation, and knowledge-sharing.  

With the theme "Empowering HR for Tomorrow," the launch celebrates the shared vision of NHRDN and SBUP to prepare future-ready HR leaders while addressing the evolving challenges at the workplace. 

The launch promises to bring together thoughtful leaders, industry experts, faculties, and students to discuss emerging trends, share best practices, and explore the critical role of HR in shaping the future. The event aims to position the SBUP Student Chapter as a key enabler of HR excellence in Pune and beyond through engaging sessions, networking opportunities, and collaborative initiatives.
