School of Commerce & Management (SCM)
The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programme offered by SBUP’s School of Commerce and Management, is a four-year undergraduate course. Designed to equip students with business acumen, critical thinking, and leadership skills, the programme offers specialisations in Marketing Management, Accounting & Finance, Human Resource Management, Business Analytics, International Business, and Entrepreneurship. With an intake of 300 students across five divisions, the curriculum follows a semester-based pattern, combining theoretical and practical learning through foundational, major, and minor courses, vocational skill and co-curricular activities, open electives, internships, and field projects.
Each specialization provides specific outcomes, such as understanding market strategies, financial literacy, or human resource mechanisms, tailored to industry demands. Students’ progress through structured coursework, with credits distributed across various categories like mandatory majors, open electives, and skill enhancement courses. Assessment involves internal and external evaluations, with a minimum pass requirement of 40% for both components. Graduates earn certificates, diplomas, or degrees based on progression, with an honours degree awarded upon completing the fourth year. This programme fosters industry readiness through live projects, research opportunities, and exposure to global business practices.
