School of Computer Studies (SCS)

The Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) programme at our School of Computer Studies prepare students for the constantly evolving IT industry. The programme provide specialisations in data science, software, and cloud computing security, as well as other technical areas that address the needs of the industry and evolving technological developments. Students acquire not only the theoretical principles but, they also learn coding courses, coding skills, data analysis courses, knowledge of cloud technologies, and experience with programming/design software.

The curriculum focuses on the aspects of problem-solving, ethical decision-making, and professional development. Students develop expertise in the field of artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, and data visualization with the ability to solve complex problems and to develop a new solution. They get to know what it is to work in multidisciplinary teams as well as to achieve results through workshops, internships and collaborative projects.

The curriculum aims to provide students with the skills to tackle global issues by efficiently adapting technological advancements and also to carefully safeguard the social good. Our BCA graduates become trained and ready to take on their roles, as data analysts, software developers, cloud architects, and IT consultants at leading tech companies globally.
