School of Liberal Arts (SLA)
At SBUP’s School of Liberal Arts, we use the interdisciplinary approach through our specialised courses in Psychology, Political Science, Media Studies, English and Economics. This program is based on the promotion of intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and productive communication. Students work across disciplines, right from Cognitive Psychology and Political Theory to Media Production and Literary Analysis. This comprehensive learning provides our student managers with the opportunity to understand liberal arts fluency.
Research, ethics and global citizenship are also important aspects in the programme. With these aspects of learning, we encourage our student managers to tackle social problems through artistic and creative innovative approaches while maintaining cultural competence. In this curriculum, we incorporate traditional teaching experiences with practical experience in real life contexts, such as with internship and field project exposure.
The curriculum equips our student managers with leadership and entrepreneurial skills which enable them to plan out a variety of career objectives, such as academia, public service, media, or business. Thus, our graduates turn into professional with deep knowledge on ethical practices, global challenges, and become capable of contributing meaning to society.
